Synopsis: ‘My Karma’ literally means ‘my responsibility as a human being
during my destined lifetime’. This is a story of a sheep sacrificed at the Kali
temple to be reborn as a human looking being leading the life of a sheep! How
his Karma again brings himself to the same place to be sacrificed in another way
now, to become a ‘Human Being’ this time. This mini-feature film stars popular
local film-star from Kolkata: Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Arjun Chakraborty and
Moonmoon Sen while been filmed and sound mixed by National Award winners Asim
Bose and Anup Mukherji.
‘I claim to be a human being while not knowing what is being a human’ a song
through Korak Day the director of the film: is a soul-stirring Bangla song with
a haunting melody that lands a punch to the elusive viewer who stays aloof from
the message of the film.

A seeker goes beyond his means to seek that, which his soul makes him leave all,
to get all. Bharath which is being called India since some times is the action
field for the plot. The Seer is not a usual Indian Sadhu but a Lion, a
grass-eating Lion. His name is Sheru. Can the king of animals give anything to
us human?
Some publishers and people in Australia and England have lifted this theme of a
‘grass-eating lion’ and made their own versions of the book. For the spiritual

civilization, the Torture Lane at Butcher’s Slum of Kolkata with his ‘matrix of
love’.
This 49 min documentary-film is about the tears and Joys of his journey as felt
and expressed by people around the world, beneficiaries and local celebrities
